Story - 2022 to current
Oblivion
Oblivion is an original high-fantasy series set in Aarda, built around legacy, mythic conflict, and the pressure placed on ordinary people by ancient powers.
Overview
At its public-facing level, Oblivion follows a young hero pulled toward a larger conflict after an old darkness returns to threaten Aarda. The story is designed as a broad fantasy world with kingdoms, species, artifacts, belief systems, and character histories that all feed into the central adventure.
Narrative Design Purpose
The project is a showcase for long-form worldbuilding: creating a fantasy setting where character identity, inherited duty, symbolic weapons, and mythic history all work together. Its design focus is not only the plot, but how the world gives each conflict emotional and cultural weight.
Public Lore Notes
- Aarda is treated as a living fantasy setting with its own histories, factions, species, and spiritual systems.
- The story uses legendary artifacts and bloodline lore to connect personal identity with larger mythic stakes.
- Public summaries should stay focused on premise, tone, worldbuilding, and design intent.
